1. No Refund Policy
   All payments for tax preparation, tax resolution, and tax planning services must be paid in full before services begin. Once payment is received, clients are not entitled to any refunds regardless of the outcome of their case.

   Engaging our services creates a financial obligation to pay for the time, expertise, and resources allocated to your case. Even if you choose not to move forward after work has begun, fees are non-refundable.
    

3. Cancellations
   If you cancel an appointment, fees will not be refunded. Clients may reschedule appointments if notice is provided at least 24 hours in advance. Rescheduling is subject to availability.
    

4. Service Termination
   We reserve the right to terminate services for non-cooperation, incomplete documentation, or failure to comply with agreements. Payments remain non-refundable in such cases.

Alternative Consulting Group LLC (“Firm”) accepts multiple forms of payment for
professional fees, including ACH transfers, debit/credit cards, PayPal, and checks. To ensure transparency in billing, please note the following:

1. Card Payments
   • A processing fee of 3% will be added to all payments made by credit card to cover the costs imposed by our payment processor (Stripe).
   • This fee will appear as a separate line item on your invoice.
   • Debit card, prepaid card, and ACH transactions are excluded from this surcharge in compliance with card network rules.
    

2. ACH / Bank Transfer Payments
   • Payments via ACH transfer are strongly encouraged.
   • ACH payments incur only a flat fee of up to $5, regardless of the invoice amount, which results in significant savings for clients.
    

3. PayPal Payments
   • Payments made via PayPal will incur a 4% processing fee to cover PayPal’s transaction costs and international exchange fees.
   • Clients paying in foreign currencies may also be subject to PayPal’s currency conversion fee (typically 3–4%).
   • This fee will be disclosed prior to payment and itemized on your invoice.
    

4. International Clients
   • International payments processed via credit card will be subject to a 3% processing fee plus any applicable currency conversion charges from the issuing bank.
   • Wire transfers are accepted upon request, and the client is responsible for all bank fees related to the wire transfer.
    

5. Disclosure & Compliance
   • All processing fees will be disclosed prior to payment submission and itemized on your invoice.
   • This policy complies with Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and PayPal regulations, as well as state-level rules regarding credit card surcharges.
   • Invoices paid by check, ACH, or wire transfer will not include this surcharge.
